Selby Library hosts 10th annual Musical Flea Market

The Selby Public Library will host the Sarasota Music Archive’s 10th Annual Musical Flea Market on Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market will be held in the Selby Library Auditorium, with rows of tables filled with eclectic musical goodies. This will include anything from vintage records and sheet music to gently used instruments, equipment and electronics. Monitors, cameras, iPads and other finds will be available as well. There is something for everyone at the Musical Flea Market, so please stop by to support dedicated local archivists!

The Sarasota Music Archive at the Selby Library preserves one of the largest collections of recordings and musical memorabilia in the region. All proceeds go to the Archive’s lecture and performance series, which is open to the public on an RSVP basis every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Selby Library Auditorium. Want to get rid of some clutter for the new semester? The Archive will be accepting donations for drop-off at the Selby Library until Feb. 16.
