Mosaic Movements is a local non-profit organization kickstarted by Yoleidy Rosario-Hernandez, the former Dean of Diversity at New College who was terminated by President Richard Corcoran on Mar. 3.
Rosario-Hernandez has reoriented zir passion for cultural programs and community dialogue by founding Mosaic Movements. The non-profit is dedicated to connecting communities and fostering important conversations through multimedia art projects and other cultural initiatives.
The Catalyst sat down with Rosario-Hernandez to create a video documentary short that explores Rosario-Hernandez’s previous multimedia art projects, generational struggles and zir future plans for community-based work.
